(Due to the overwhelming amount of physical and mental exertion over the last week- instead of summarizing the whole thing and posting 402 pictures, I have decided to pretend like I posted each day of our trip. So please, if you will, take yourself back in time, one week ago.)

Our Make A Wish Trip

We woke up at 5:30am and headed off to the airport. Jack was very excited and behaving very well. We settled in on the plane and broke out all the "plane activities" so he could keep himself busy. After taking his lasix he fell asleep, and we ended up with a massive puddle in his seat. Luckily, I brought a change of clothes. So after our connection in Atlanta, we arrived in Florida and found a nice gentleman holding a big sign that said "GIVE KIDS THE WORLD WELCOMES JACK TRENT" and he helped us with our luggage, and escorted us to our rental car. We let Jack pick it, and of course, it was red.

When we arrived at the GKTW Village, Jack had just woken up and was a little shy (weird? yes.) But once they handed over his new Mickey Mouse and handed us an envelope with CARS stickers all over it- he perked up.

They took us to our Villa and sitting on the table was a bag FULL off stuff. Books, coloring books, crayons, toys, snacks and more. The villa was a nice little apartment-esque place with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a kitchen.
(Our Villa, with Lightning McQueen in the driveway.)

We settled in and ordered dinner from "Katie's Kitchen" and 10 minutes later had a rotisserie chicken and all the sides on our table. After that we walked around the Village.

We found the round the clock ice cream shop, the Magic Castle and the Merry-Go-Round. Jack also got to meet Mayor Clayton- and his wife. They are ginormous bunnies that rule the Village.

The sugar-high was at full force. We went to see the pool, it was still chilly so it was empty, but Jack found some sand and dove right in.

I had to go to Orientation- so Josh took Jack to the "Village Idol" while I went to the "House of Hearts." There I learned that our trip included the following:
-3 day passes to Disney's Magical Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studio's, The Animal Kingdom and Epcot
-Passes to SeaWorld and Universal Studios
-3 free meals at the Village, every day
-1 photo pass to receive a free disco from Disney, of all the photos taken of us at the 4 Disney parks
-VIP passes to GKTW lounges in the parks
-Gold Star for Jack to leave behind in the Magic Castle
-Daily Gifts every morning
-Burned disc of the pictures taken of us at the Village

I missed the Village Idol- but apparently Jack sang "Three Little Birds" for everyone, acapella. He was a hit, and signed autographs afterwards.
We went to Walmart for some essentials, then came home to the Villa and went to bed.

Yay! It looks like so much fun. I can't wait to have Jack tell me all about it and I'm looking forward to more pictures.

SO FUN! I would love to see more pictures of the next few days. It sounds like Jack got royal treatment. I love the picture of Josh with Jack and the one of you and Jack on the park bench!
